These three cookbooks of The Gourmet’s Companion series—Jeffrey A. Sadowski’s Italian Cuisine and French Cuisine and Matt A. Casado’s Spanish Cuisine—are part of the same cluster of books we produced for John Wiley & Sons as Marcial Prado’s Practical Spanish Grammar and Advanced Spanish Grammar. We were responsible for all of the publishing steps going from heavy developmental / content editing to finished disks. Our input into these three titles was such that it caused Mr. Sadowski to ask us for permission to keep our “flags” so as to be able to include our suggestions in the next edition.
